KNITMEASURE / THE SMALL PRINT

Privacy & local storage

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The calculator code does not send them to a server, analytics provider or AI service. No account, analytics script, advertising tracker or external font is included.

Optional local saving

Only clicking “Save on this device” stores a plan in your browser’s local storage. One plan is kept per tool until you delete it with “Delete saved plan” or clear browser data. It is not synced or backed up by KnitMeasure. Someone with access to your browser profile may read it. Exported worksheets are files you control.

Website requests and logs

Loading a page necessarily sends ordinary connection information to the hosting service, including IP address, requested URL and browser headers. The origin web-server configuration for this release disables access logging for this site and retains operational error logs; hosting-provider network or security logs may still exist under the provider’s own policies. Do not put personal information in page URLs. A CDN, if enabled at launch, may also process connection and security data.

No unnecessary consent banner

The site sets no application cookies. Saving is an explicit functional action, not an automatic tracking mechanism. Browser privacy settings may block local storage; calculations and worksheet export still work.
